Community Empowerment

In rural areas where unemployment was prevalent, a church decided to take a proactive approach by initiating Village-Based Empowerment (VIBE) groups. These groups aimed to empower the community by training them in various skills, enabling them to create employment opportunities, increase their income, and transform their digging activities into viable agriculture businesses. Additionally, members were taught how to save money to start their own businesses. Divine Care Africa also provided a valuable platform for individuals to come together, share knowledge, and support each other in their efforts to overcome the challenges of unemployment. By offering education and training, the groups aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills to excel in their chosen fields.

One of the key aspects to develop communities was to emphasize on utilizing available resources effectively. Members are taught how to make the most of available resources, such as land, water, and raw materials, to create sustainable income-generating opportunities. Another important aspect of this charity is to train communities in agricultural practices. Members learned how to convert their digging activities into successful agriculture businesses. This involved understanding soil conditions, identifying suitable crops, and implementing proper farming techniques. Through our beloved sponsors we provide coffee seedlings, maize seeds, beans etc.

In addition to providing practical skills training, Divine care Africa emphasizes the importance of saving money to start one's own business. Saving money was seen as a crucial first step towards financial independence and economic development. The groups provided guidance on how to budget, prioritize expenses, and make wise financial decisions, empowering individuals to accumulate the necessary capital to start their own small businesses.
